How to solve most Linkedin account Synch issues

Step 1: Make sure you are working on the right browser

The features you want to use will only be available on the Google browser: Google Chrome. So make sure you are working from this browser when you use Oliverlist.

If you don't use Google Chrome yet, you can download it here.

Step 2: Downloading the extension :

Have you downloaded our Google Chrome extension? This will be necessary to export contacts from Linkedin.
"I didn't download the extension": No problem, the problem is probably there! Download our Google Chrome extension here
"I already downloaded the extension": Let's make sure you have the latest version of the extension. Delete and download the extension again: click here

Step 3: Pin the extension

On Google Chrome, you can pin an extension so that you can easily see it. We invite you to pin the extension you just downloaded for convenience.

Here's how to do it:

Click on the little puzzle piece at the top right of your browser



Click on the little pin on the right of "Oliverlist".



Excellent! The extension should appear in the top right corner of your browser now!

Step 4: Sign in on Linkedin

Log in (on the same browser) to your Linkedin account. Here is the link to Log in

Step 5 : Go back to the "Searches" page of Oliverlist, more specifically in a "Linkedin" search (the first one for example)

Case 1 : A big blue banner appears, with an animated image. This simply means that you are not connected. You will just have to follow the small tutorial presented on the screen. It tells you to click on the extension that we downloaded together earlier. Click on the extension. It should load a little. Once this is done, you are connected and the error should be gone! Congratulations! 🎉

Case 2: A banner with blue borders appears, showing your Linkedin account name. Click on the "Unsynchronize" button present a little bit below. Once this is done, a big blue banner appears, with an animated image. This simply means that you are not connected. You will then just have to follow the small tutorial presented on the screen. It tells you to click on the extension that we downloaded together earlier. Click on the extension. It should load a little. Once this is done, you are connected and the error should be gone! Congratulations! 🎉
